We are currently unable to offer assessment lessons as our group lessons are at capacity.
Any private lessons booked will not be graded.

Please note: We have a range of ponies and horses to suit all skill levels, but our maximum weight limit is 12 stone.

Our lessons:

We offer a range of lessons, for beginners who’ve never ridden before to more experienced riders. Our focus is on children and teenagers and we do not offer adult group lessons. We do provide private or semi-private lessons for adults – providing riders are under our 12 stone weight limit.

Our instructors work with people who’ve never ridden before, nervous riders who’d like to build confidence, returning riders who want to refresh their skills and those who’ve ridden a lot. Our Outdoor group lessons have a maximum of 6-7 riders and our Indoor group lessons are usually 4 -5 riders.

If you or your child have ridden before and would like riding lessons, we ask you to book an assessment session to assess your level of riding and to ensure that we match you with the right instructor and horse.

For children:

New riders: Please book an assessment (private 30 min lesson) prior to joining a group lesson – your child will be graded at the assessment and will then be able to join a suitable group or they can continue with private or semi-private lessons. Due to the high volume of riders, it may be a few weeks between assessment and group lesson availability.

Tots Beginner Lessons – Saturday mornings – for 3-5 years, 30 minutes
A group riding lesson for those who are at the early stage of their riding experience, these are group sessions where children can learn in a social setting.

Indoor Beginner Lessons – for riders under 12 years, 30 minutes
These group riding lessons are perfect for children who want to give riding a go and continue to ride regularly to improve their riding skills.

Outdoor Teen Beginner Lessons – for riders 12+ years, outdoor lessons, 45 minutes

These group riding lessons are perfect for older children who want to give riding a go and continue to ride regularly to improve their riding skills.

Improvers, Novice & Advanced Lessons – 60 minutes
These group riding lessons for improver ability upwards are led by expert instructors within a social setting. These group lessons are currently full and you will need to join a waiting list – please contact Reception.

For adults:

Our focus is on teaching children and teenagers and we do not offer adult group lessons.

Prices:

If you have booked a Group Hourly lesson, and there are less than 3 riders attending, the following rules will apply:

🐴 1 rider – your lesson will be a 30-minute private lesson

🐴🐴 2 riders – your lesson will be a 45-minute semi-private lesson

🐴🐴🐴 3 riders – your lesson will be a 60-minute group lesson.
The price of your lesson will remain unchanged.

Please note:

We have a range of horses and ponies to suit all skill levels but our maximum weight limit is 12 stone.

We do not offer adult group lessons.
