The Ride High charity’s Golden Ticket Ball took place on Saturday 25th January at Jury’s Inn Milton Keynes. The guests walked through giant Wonka gates with their golden tickets and over a grass bridge into the most spectacular and colourful Ballroom we’ve ever seen – with giant lollipops and sweets to remind us all of our own childhoods.
With musical performances from the wonderful Lisa Saunders and the Ride High children, a heart-warming speech from ex Ride High member Harlee, combined with auctions, raffles, live band, chocolate fountain, VR and grab-a-grand games guests had a fantastic evening and also had the opportunity to learn more about the charity and the importance of our work in the community.
The Ride High children had a wonderful time and are a true inspiration to us all; they did both the charity and themselves very proud. Some of these children barely said a word when they first came to Ride High – at the Ball they courageously stood up in front of 300 people. What a remarkable achievement!
The Golden Ticket Ball was the charity’s most successful event yet and raised a brilliant £101k. Every penny of the funds raised will be used to support the most disadvantaged children in Milton Keynes.
Thank you to all the guests, donors and volunteers for supporting Ride High’s event – it couldn’t have happened without you. Special thanks to their sponsors Sysmex UK, Imagine Presentations and to designer Collingwood Design.
