A visit from the equine physiotherapist…

Equine Physiotherapy

All horses used for ridden work should ideally receive regular physiotherapy to maintain good performance and welfare and at the Ride High Equestrian Centre we’re very fortunate to have Charlie Coyle, a qualified veterinary physiotherapist, working with us to provide physiotherapy to our horses.

Equine physiotherapy helps horses by:

  • Increasing range of movement
  • Improving muscle symmetry and tone
  • Reducing risk of injury
  • Aiding the reduction of muscle spasms
  • Elimination of adhesions by increasing blood circulation

Charlie has recently joined our extended equine team, caring for our beautiful horses, and we’re very grateful for her visits and advice.  If you would like to find out more about equine physiotherapy, or are interested in booking a physio session with Charlie for your horse or dog, please visit her website.

Here’s some photos of Kofi and Suave enjoying a recent visit from Charlie:
