Private Lessons

We have scheduled a range of 30-minute private lessons in the Indoor and Outdoor schools for one-to-one tuition over the Summer Holidays.  For new riders private lessons are an ideal introduction to horse-riding and for graded riders, private lessons are a great opportunity to work with an instructor on aspects of your riding that you feel less confident about, or just as a special treat!

These sessions are for our graded L3 (outdoor) – L6 riders to practice their show jumping:  Each group will have a practice session, followed by a fun show jumping competition, with rosettes awarded!  Parents are welcome to watch from the outdoor shelter.  Numbers will be limited, so book early to avoid disappointment.

Pole work involves riding over trotting-poles lying on the ground at a controlled pace –  it is an excellent tool to improve riding skills for jumping.  In these pole work clinics we’ll be using the poles to focus on and improve steering, balance, impulsion and accuracy, with exercises appropriate to your level of riding.  It’s also a lot of fun!
