It is the season for foals and we welcomed this little one into the world at the end of last week!

When we discovered that our mare Bramble was pregnant, a few months after she arrived with us, we were kindly loaned Eclipse to keep her company, as Eclipse was also expecting.  We assumed Bramble would have her foal first, however Eclipse has lived up to her name and beat her to it, with Aurora arriving at the start of June!  

Mother and baby are both doing well, but we do ask that if you are visiting us and watching them in their paddock, to please give them plenty of space, keep your distance and remain quiet around them.  Eclipse is very protective of her new baby and is doing a great job as a first time mum, so we are trying to give them the space and peace to bond together.
