About Us

Aerial view of Ride High Equestrian Centre in 2018

The Ride High Equestrian Centre is set in 37 acres of countryside in Loughton, in the heart of Milton Keynes. In this beautiful oasis of green space, we have over 24 horses who can’t wait to meet you.

We’re a social enterprise, meaning all profits from the Ride High Equestrian Centre are used to support the local children’s charity Ride High, which transforms the lives of Milton Keynes’ most disadvantaged children.  The Ride High charity is also based at our site.

There’s lots of ways to enjoy and connect with our horses:

Riding lessons:

We offer a range of lessons, for beginners who’ve never ridden before to more experienced riders. Our focus is on children and teenagers and we do not offer adult group lessons.  We do provide private or semi-private lessons for adults – providing riders are under our 12 stone weight limit.

Hacking:

We offer hacking for existing clients only.

Other services:

In addition to riding lessons, we also offer non-ridden and sensory sessions, supported learning programmes, sensory programmes and  school holiday experiences and activities.

With experienced staff and excellent facilities, we pride ourselves on being experts in our field (sometimes quite literally!) and with our quality tuition, you’ll focus on learning at your own pace. We concentrate on working in small groups, so you’ll never be just one of the crowd.

And if you’ve never even met a pony before that doesn’t matter. We’ll make you feel welcome, safe and relaxed at the equestrian centre. One thing we can guarantee is that we’ll make being with horses fun.

Explore our website and find out more about our unique offer here, how you can get involved, and how to book. We, and our happy horses, look forward to meeting you soon.

If you need any assistance, please contact Reception on 01908 666434 or email us.
